LIMA, Peru (AP) — An earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 5.9 was reported near central Peru’s coast.

The U.S. Geological Survey says the temblor hit at 3 a.m. Wednesday about 10 miles northeast of Chincha Alta, and its depth was 30 miles . There Are no immediate reports of injuries or damage
