The ‘96 Theses’ offers 96 reasons why Christ in eternity is no longer going to share His testimony with the testimony of sinners in a place called the ‘Word of God’.
The purpose of the book is to decouple the narrative of sinners from the narrative of Christ so that the character and nature of God is no longer blurred by the forced marriage of two incompatible portrayals.
By doing this, the Bible is not negated but its contents come under the Lordship of Christ whose canon of scripture is not tainted by the sinful nature of man as the rest of the Bible is.
