Two earthquakes hit Melbourne Australia

TWO earthquakes have hit Melbourne’s south, but there are no reports of damage.

The earthquakes were about 14 seconds apart and hit the Mornington Peninsula region at about 6.20pm (AEST), Geoscience Australia seismologist David Jepson said.

They recorded magnitudes of 3.0 and 2.6, with the epicentre about 25km south of Frankston.

“They were felt about 25km away from its epicentre.
